OBITUARY FOR ADAM BENCE BALÁZS

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Adam Bence Balázs, a cherished member of the BISLA family. Adam was not only a distinguished professor and colleague but also a dear friend to many. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will remember his warmth, infectious humor, and the way he made every conversation meaningful. His teachings reached far beyond the classroom; they flourished in the garden, over shared cigarettes, in the hallways, through heartfelt emails, extending to years after graduation.
Adam was an exceptional scholar and educator, with a remarkable breadth of knowledge encompassing political philosophy, geopolitics, arts, and literature. Yet, above all, he was a truly remarkable human being who brightened our days and enriched our lives. His kindness and insight left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, his loved ones, and his partner, Lucia, during this difficult time.
