Hiking Society

What is art? What is the function of a gallery – to display art for the masses, i.e. democratic function or to position art as a Veblen good – inherent to its existence. Should art be on consumer products, or is product art in itself? All of those questions will be discussed on the meetings by the Art Society. Moreover, We will go see exhibitions, films, installations. We will talk about the philosophy of art and aesthetics and have interesting discussions will people from the field.
