is Professor of Philosophy, Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of Philosophy of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Head of Department for Social and Political Philosophy. He is author of five monographs, among them Pozvanie k Heideggerovi (Invitation to Heidegger), Bratislava: and Osud a voľba (Fate and Choice. Paradoxes of Rationalization in Max Weber), Bratislava.
